Established in 1988 around an artificial lake, the oasis has the recognition of the City of Tortoreto and the Province of Teramo in spite of a private nature. Around the lake there are numerous species of flora and fauna. Among aquatic species: Swan musician, the Mallard, Teal, the Garganey, the Pochard, Wigeon, Common Moretta, the tabaccata, to name a few. Just to discover its flora and fauna are dedicated guided tours. The main nature trail, equipped for the disabled, starts from the visitor center, along the lake and forwards between the various ponds and lakes that form with their aquatic plants, the constructed wetland system of adduction sources.
